1% For The Planet

Philanthropy.

Whatever we do, our activities leave a mark on this planet. We need resources to create value, and extracting, using and disposing of them has a direct impact on people and the environment.

Reducing our consumption, using recycled resources, recycling endlessly, offsetting our carbon footprint… these are all good steps. But we can also go further and make a direct, positive difference for our planet.

This is the idea behind the global collective “1% FOR THE PLANET”, which encourages businesses, as well as individuals, to donate 1% of their revenue to environmental protection organisations. 1% isn’t much. And yet, since 2002, when the network was founded, over $728 million has been donated to NGOs worldwide, and €14 million in France each year (updated March 2026).

In France in 2026, the 1% scheme involves more than 900 companies supporting 850 accredited organisations. For us, joining the 1% scheme wasn’t an option, but a necessity, a sort of tax we owe to the planet. That’s why we became members in our very first financial year…

It's really important for us to support projects focused on active learning and the transmission of values to future generations. We are very proud to be part of this network of philanthropic entrepreneurs. In our own way, we help fund local initiatives that raise awareness and protect the environment. Beyond consuming less and better, take a closer look at product labels, especially the 1% logo, which is now appearing on more and more everyday products.

  • For My Planet.

In 2019, when we first heard about Alice and Ismaël Khelifa and their organisation "For My Planet", their mission immediately resonated with us, and we decided to support them. They created For My Planet to guide teenagers through an ecological and scientific approach that empowers them to become active contributors to climate solutions. Concretely, the organisation works with schools across France, taking students into national and regional parks. Like scientists, they observe, collect and analyse data in the field, then present their findings in conferences at the end of the project. Together, they connect with nature, are inspired by its beauty, and learn about cooperation, teamwork, and human connection.

  • Protect Our Winters.

Protect Our Winters (or P.O.W.) brings together the outdoor sports community to take action for the climate, biodiversity and social justice. The organisation aims to raise awareness among outdoor enthusiasts and local decision-makers about the climate emergency and, more importantly, about existing and future solutions. Through inspiring content, tools that promote low-carbon mobility and advocacy campaigns that amplify the voice of the outdoor community, P.O.W. France helps passionate individuals take meaningful action for the climate and the mountains. More info at: www.protectourwinters.fr

Active member of the collective.

In addition to donating a portion of our annual revenue to non-profit organizations, we also try to be as involved as possible within the network by taking part in events, meetups, and campaigns.

In 2022, together with Alice from For My Planet, we were invited to take part in the national 1% for the Planet campaign. Challenge accepted! We headed to Paris for a real photoshoot with a stylist, makeup artist, and photographer. An amazing experience, and above all, a way to celebrate a long-standing partnership with For My Planet. And what a proud moment to see our faces, and our commitment, featured in magazines!
