With the ONSEN, dare to explore the world with your baby, further and for longer. This ultra-technical and minimalist baby carrier is inspired by the traditional Japanese Onbuhimo, designed without a hip belt. It is particularly suitable for pregnant women, people with larger body types, or those with hip issues.
Three years of development went into creating the ONSEN baby carrier. It combines a simple, ancestral carrying method with technical materials used in outdoor sports. The result is a comfortable, ergonomic and ultra-compact backup carrier, weighing only 290g. Designed for front carrying from 6 to 8 months (when the baby can sit independently) and for back carrying up to 20kg (around 4 to 5 years old). Perfect for when your little adventurer no longer wants to walk during a hike, on holiday or in everyday life.
The carrier packs into its own kangaroo pocket, making it ideal for adventurous parents or city lovers, as a complement to a stroller.
The ONSEN is made from technical, breathable and durable materials, 100% recycled and Bluesign® certified. It successfully passed a full type examination including chemical and mechanical tests conducted by SGS, according to the FD CEN/TR 16512 protocol (April 2015) for baby carrier safety.

What is an ONBUHIMO?
An Onbuhimo is a traditional Japanese baby carrying system, originally used by women working crouched in rice fields, carrying their baby high on their back. Without a hip belt and worn high on the back, this simple and ergonomic system also allows the child to look over the parent's shoulder.
Who is it for?
The ONSEN baby carrier is designed for front carrying from 6 to 8 months (when the baby can sit independently) and back carrying up to 20kg (4 to 5 years). For parents, Onbuhimo carriers are perfect for adventurous families looking for simplicity and comfort. The ONSEN is an alternative to urban strollers and traditional hiking baby carriers, which are often heavy and poorly adapted (shifted centre of gravity, non-physiological carrying). Because it has no hip belt, it also allows pregnant women, parents recovering after childbirth, people with hip issues or larger body types to carry their child, which is often difficult with conventional baby carriers.

Repairs under warranty are free, or partially covered under certain conditions. We work with repair workshops in France and across Europe. Request a repair.
Orders are prepared and shipped by our logistics partner in Annecy. In France, delivery takes between 1 and 3 working days. Please allow a few extra days for the rest of Europe.
You have 30 days after receiving your order to change your mind. Simply return the unused product, at your own expense, in its original packaging to our warehouse. More info in the Customer Service section.
Take care of your bag! Gently brush and rinse with lukewarm soapy water as soon as a stain appears. Occasional machine washing is possible at max. 30°C.

Nous utilisons votre porte bébé de façon professionnelle dans un lieu petite enfance. Il est très pratique, confortable pour l'enfant et pour l'adulte. Le fait qu'il n'y ai pas de ceinture ventrale change tout.
