The story with Bertrand started with a single image. A photo on Chilowé's account that stopped us in our tracks. The kind of photo that transports you immediately: a van, the ocean, a sunset, a couple holding hands… And a few minutes later, a message from Bertrand reacting to one of Hélène's comments. He wanted to create photos like that for MeroMero too, with a little boy in tow. Bingo!

Bertrand and Elsa were the first to hit the road with WeVan across Europe, making them the authors of the very first chapter in the Drive Your Adventure series. They paved the way for Clémence of @Roammates (Vol. 2 in Norway and Vol. 3 in Portugal) and then Chloé of @vanlifegoeson (France by van).

Today, they're back on the road with their two boys, equipped with MeroMero bags of course.

WHY WE CHOSE THEM.

Because that one unforgettable photo stayed with us. Because Bertrand is a photographer and his images are incredibly powerful (the proof is in the pictures). Because, together with Elsa, they travelled across Europe in a van and shared their adventures in a guide. And because, before settling in the Southwest, they were in Haute-Savoie (#localpride).
